Charlie J. Stoever

Charlie is a nonbinary Mexican-American who earned a BA in French and Gender Studies at Wellesley College in 2012. She spent several years in the education field serving with City Year San Antonio, teaching in a Boston Charter School, then teaching English and leading LGBT safe zone trainings with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua. She has worked as a cross country adventure tour guide (which involved living out of a van) and most recently finished a year working as a licensed (Series 66 and 7) stock broker in Indianapolis. She is passionate about increasing lgbtq and BIPOC visibility in the online travel and financial literacy spaces and works as a financial literacy coach via zoom. She is currently pursuing a Social Impact MBA from the Heller School for Public Policy and Management. She is excited to learn more about reducing greenwashing in the impact investing field and promoting financial literacy among groups which have not had access to inter-generational wealth and/or financial education in the past.
